The dog days of summer are here! In these hot temperatures, be sure to keep your dogs well hydrated and provide them shade from the sun when left outside in your yard. Don't ever leave your dog alone in a hot car, or, locked in a kennel in the heat. It doesn't take long at all to suffer from heat stroke, which can lead to death. Fleas and ticks are already out in full force this summer due to our unusually warm winter. Take precautions to protect your dogs and family from flea, tick, and, mosquito bites this summer. These parasites can carry debilitating Lyme Disease, West Nile Virus, and, Heart Worm. We recommend treating your yard with a product like Seven Dust, and, using a preventative on your dog such as Liberty 50 topical, which, we carry in our boutique, or, a topical/pill/chewable preventative available from your veterinarian, both of which protect your dog for 30 days at a time.

Due to an increased demand for appointments, staffing shortage, and, it being our busy time of the year, appointments are getting harder to schedule. We suggest calling well in advance to schedule an appointment if you are not a VIP member, or, set up for Time to Time appointments. Accordingly, it takes us longer to return phone calls. Although we do our best to return your call in a timely manner and at least let you know that we will call you as soon as possible, it may be later in the afternoon, or, the following morning before we get back to you.
